Progressive Recovery, Inc. (PRI) has been providing ThermoBatch™ and AUTOFLOW™ effluent decontamination systems to premier research facilities worldwide since 1999 and are used in BSL-4, BSL-3 Enhanced, BSL-3 AG and BSL-3 facilities. With the addition of the Caustic Digester™ (sometimes called a Tissue digester) PRI uses known technology and incorporates design refinements to address the mechanics of dissolving solid biological waste. An alkaline hydrolysis process at elevated temperature is used to convert biological waste into a sterile, homogenous liquid for safe and easy discharge.

With the growing need for this specialized product, PRI has built an additional 18,000 sq ft addition to the manufacturing area. The new shop is designed for the equipment and tools necessary to build units up to 50,000 gallon capacity.
