How Often Should Vessels Be Inspected?

The National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) specifies that pressure vessels shall be inspected at 1/2 of the remaining vessel life, or 10 years, whichever is less. Whenever the remaining life is less than 4 years, the inspection interval may be the full remaining life, up to a maximum of 2 years. The inspection interval will be established by the inspector based upon vessel condition and corrosion rates found during the first and consecutive inspections.

What’s Included in the Service?

Our certified NDT technicians and licensed engineers will provide a comprehensive inspection of your processing equipment and provide the information to take preventative measures, optimize efficiency, avoid failure, increase service life and reverse corrosion. Lifetime and functionality is affected by operating conditions, water conditions and maintenance procedures. Upon completion of inspection, operators will be presented with documentation of inspection and results.
